Christian
Education Ministry Group - Jan McComas – Chair
The Christian Education Ministry Group provides for the planning and operation
of the education programs of the church: church school, youth and adult
education, vacation church school, youth fellowship activities, and crib
and preschool care.
Mission and Service Ministry Group - Suzi Podhorecki , Chair
The Church in the World Ministry Group coordinates the mission outreach
of Lewinsville Presbyterian Church. This ministry group is the vehicle by which the congregation
is involved in ministering to the needs of others.
Membership
Ministry Group - John Thomas, Chair
The Membership Ministry Group explores ways to attract visitors, to help
make Lewinsville a more welcoming church, to encourage and support visitors
as they go through the Inquirer's Class, and to help integrate new members
into the life of the church. This group also helps support current members
as they explore ways in which they may feel called to be involved. It
maintains membership records and conducts the annual membership review
required by the Presbytery.
Parish
Life & Care Ministry Group - Jody Ransom, Chair
The focus of this Group is primarily internal, its activities aimed at
the needs of our congregation, including our visitors. It is responsible
for communications, fellowship, membership care and nurture, volunteer
ministry, and the neighborhood cluster system.
Worship
Ministry Group - Jim Scopeletis, Chair
Working closely with the Pastor and the Minister of Music, this Group
develops and oversees the liturgy and order of worship, music programs,
special services, and provides for the celebration of the sacraments.
Management
Ministry Group:
The Administrative Committee (Erik Kloster, Chair) of this Group coordinates fiscal affairs, prepares the budget, oversees
use and care of buildings and grounds, and provides advice and recommendations
on legal affairs.
The Personnel Committee (Harriet Neldon, Chair) develops
and implements personnel policies to enhance the efficiency of staff functions.
