GOVERNANCE - LPC FOUNDATION "Render
unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, A Legacy of Love and Giving The LPC Foundation is a tax-exempt organization charged with supporting large-scale projects and capital improvements which would normally fall outside the regular operating budget. Established in 1985, the Foundation Endowment Fund has grown to a value of about $1 million. A number of grants have been made from the Foundation. For example, the Foundation provided funds for the entrance doors installed on Fellowship Hall, the Stephen Ministry permanent membership fee, and the replacement of the roofs on Heritage Hall and the Chapel. In addition, a grant has been made to Chesterbrook Residences, Inc. in support of their development efforts. The Foundation processes all memorial gifts made to the Church, and invests funds from various committees that are either permanent funds or funds that will be used in a future budget cycle. The LPC Foundation is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This permits bequests and donations to be made directly to the Foundation with the same tax benefits as if they were made to Lewinsville Presbyterian Church. To explore gifts to the Foundation, please contact Rosalind Phillips via email or by regular mail at LPC Foundation, P.O. Box 538, McLean, VA 22101. The Foundation will be glad to provide general information regarding gifts, will and charitable trusts to anyone upon request. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD OUR BROCHURE
