OUR STAFF
Senior Pastor/Head of Staff: Rev. Deborah A. McKinley
"And
we know that all things work together for good to them that love God." Romans 8:28
Rev. Debbie McKinley was called to Lewinsville in September 2008 and preached her first sermon on November 23, 2008.
Debbie McKinley grew up in southern California, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Communications from the University of California, San Diego, and her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
Her 26 years in ministry began with Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she was ordained in 1982. Later, she joined the national staff of the Presbyterian Church USA as Associate for Worship with the Theology and Worship Ministry Unit of the General Assembly Council. She served as an editorial consultant on the Book of Common Worship and was responsible for introducing this resource to Presbyterian churches nationwide. After a relatively brief stint at PC(USA), she was called as pastor of Old Pine Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.
She comes to Lewinsville having completed 14 years of ministry at Old Pine, one of Philadelphia’s great and historic churches. Today, Debbie serves on the Board of Trustees of Princeton Theological Seminary. And she runs triathlons. “I participate not because I am an athlete,” she explains, “I do it because – if I can, anyone can.” We welcome Debbie and her husband, David Rich to our Lewinsville family as we open a new chapter in the life of the “church at Barrett’s Crossroads” and step off on a new journey together. and a light unto my path." Ps 119.105
Rev. Pinder served Lewinsville Church for 37 years, from 1968 through 2005. Gary's tenure
