Senior Pastor/Head of Staff: Rev. Deborah A. McKinley
Rev. Debbie McKinley began her ministry at Lewinsville in the fall of 2008, but her ministry began with Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she was ordained in 1982.
Through the years, she served on the national staff of PC(USA) as Associate for Worship with the Theology and Worship Ministry Unit of the General Assembly Council. She was an editorial consultant on the Book of Common Worship and responsible for introducing this resource to Presbyterian churches nationwide. Debbie returned to pastoral duties when called to serve Old Pine Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, and there, she led the urban and historic Old Pine congregation for 14 years before coming to Lewinsville.
When she arrived in McLean, she brought an enormous supply of energy, enthusiasm and imagination to the task of leading Lewinsville Christians into the 21st century.
She is a native of southern California, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, and her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Today, she serves on the Board of Trustees of Princeton Seminary. Click Here to email Rev. McKinley
Pastor: Rev. Emily Berman D'Andrea
2002, Rev. Emily D'Andrea joined the Lewinsville staff as Associate Pastor.
Emily came to us from Burke Presbyterian Church. At Lewinsville church,
she assists the Senior Pastor in her duties, preaches regularly, and works
closely with Session to implement spiritual growth programs for our members.

Following graduation, she was awarded a Graduate Study Fellowship, which
took her to France, Scotland, and North East Asia for a year. While abroad,
she studied Christian worship in various cultural contexts.

served on several Presbytery committees. She is proficient in French,
plays the flute, and has been known to break out in song in the middle

of Christian Education: Allison Lineberger
the staff at Lewinsville in November 2003 from Second Presbyterian Church
in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she worked for five years as Director of
Children's Ministries. Prior to her work at Second Church, Allison worked
for 16 years as the Director of Christian Education at First Presbyterian
Church in Gastonia, North Carolina.
drama and music. She is also a puppeteer, a storyteller and a cartoonist.
She is a graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania,
majoring in Art. She earned her Masters in Christian Education at the
Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Virginia

Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries: Kate Satterstrom
Kate Satterstrom recently graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary, with a dual degree: M.Div. and M.A. with a concentration in Youth Ministry. She did her undergraduate work at Purdue University. All of Kate’s field education experience has been in youth ministry, and she continued as a volunteer youth advisor at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, NJ, after her field education experience was completed. Kate’s responsibilities will include planning and carrying out youth fellowship, youth Sunday School and confirmation, youth mission trips (including Winter and Summer Mission Projects), reaching out and creating programming for college age and other young adults, and working with the Youth Council.

Director of Music Ministries: Michael Devine
Michael recently graduated from a joint program at Luther Seminary and St. Olaf College in Minnesota with a Master's Degree in Sacred Music. He did his undergraduate work at Wheaton College in Illinois, receiving a Bachelor of Music degree. During his degree studies, Michael worked in four churches in increasingly important roles, most recently as choir director at the United Methodist Church of Anoka, Minnesota. In addition to bringing excellent training and experience for service here, Michael also has a strongly pastoral approach to church music, musicians and the congregation as a whole. He also brings a creative approach to weaving music into the many facets of Lewinsville's life. Michael, as Director of Music Ministries, will provide direction and leadership to the full range of instrumental and vocal music for the congregation and personally nurture and develop our choirs.

Organist: Carole K. Huston
Carole Huston received a Bachelor of Music in Organ and a Master of Music History from the Florida State University. She has achieved the Service Playing and the Colleague Certificates from the American Guild of Organists. Over the years, Carole has served in churches of many denominations in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, California and Virginia. She is married to Ward and they have 2 daughters and 2 grandsons. She has been serving Lewinsville Presbyterian Church since 2001 as the Assistant Organist and Director of Children’s Choirs.

The Reverend Gary G. Pinder, Pastor Emeritus
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,

Rev. Pinder served Lewinsville Church for 37 years, from 1968 through 2005. Gary's tenure
included several milestones in mission growth and outreach for the
church. As part of an outreach program to the local community, Lewinsville
Church opened a 144-unit retirement home for the elderly in 1980 on land
immediately adjacent to the church. During the 1980s, he shepherded the
membership through a $2.5 million renovation and expansion of the sanctuary
and physical plant. In 2003, he was instrumental in starting the "Journey
for Discernment," an effort by the church to redefine its mission.
New York, Gary is a graduate of the College of Wooster and Pittsburgh
Theological Seminary. He and wife Barbara reside in Maine.
