1846 Covenant Society
Supporting
The Lewinsville Presbyterian Church Foundation
Endowment Fund

In October 2009, Lewinsville Presbyterian Church officially launched The 1846 Covenant Society, a legacy organization created by the Foundation to recognize members and friends of the congregation who have included the church in their estate planning. Our purpose is to build a spiritual legacy that will strengthen and extend the mission and ministry of the church for the benefit of future generations.

Members of the Society embody the belief that thoughtful planning today will ensure the faithful gathered at Lewinsville will always have the resources to meet the needs of the Lewinsville Church family – and those of communities throughout the world.

His incisive remarks are always sprinkled generously with his renowned good wit.

During his career, Dr. Galloway authored three books, including Ministry Loves Company: A Survival Guide for Pastors. Among his many accomplishments, he developed the Blue Cross Caring Program for Children. Around Philadelphia, he is well known as the founder of City Lights, a mission program involving churches and schools in southwest Philadelphia.

He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his M.Div. degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. His many years of ministry included service to churches in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania. Today, he is an officer on the Princeton Theological Seminary Board of Trustees where he serves with our pastor, Debbie McKinley.

Dr. Galloway and his wife, Nancy, live in Villa Nova, PA.
