Youth Fellowship: We meet in the Youth Center most every Sunday evening from 6-8 PM for dinner, games and discussion – special events will take place from time to time and will be communicated in advance. Friends are always welcome. Each youth must have a current Medical Form on file, and all offsite activities will require a signed Parental Consent Form.
June Activities:
- Sunday, June 5 - LYFE Youth Fellowship at 6:00 pm.
- Sunday, June 12 - LYFE Youth Fellowship at 6:00 pm. Praise/Worship Night!
- Our Youth Praise band is putting on a congregation-wide Praise and Worship night in Fellowship Hall. Parents, grandparents, the church congregation, siblings, and friends are all welcome to join us for a time of fellowship. Snacks and coffee will be provided. There will be a couple of songs and even a little message given by one of the students in the band. You can come and go as you please and don’t need to feel obligated to stay the entire time. This event is also open to the community, so reach out to others and encourage them to come worship with us!!
- At 7:00 pm, in the Sanctuary, Allen Krieg will be putting on his trumpet recital. All are encouraged to attend the recital after praise and worship concludes.
- Sunday, June 19 - no LYFE Fellowship
- Wednesday, June 22 - Summer Splash pool party at the Deese residence from 6:00 -9:00 pm. It will include lots of food, games, swimming, basketball and more. It’s a potluck and assignments are:
- Advisors: hot dogs, burgers and buns
- Last name A-E provide the drinks
- Last name F-K bring a dessert
- Last name L-Q: cups, plates, utensils and napkins
- Last name R-Z bring any type of side dish
- Saturday, June 25 - Summer Mission Project trip begins - Hartsville, SC
- Sunday, June 26 - no LYFE Fellowship

Lewinsville’s Youth Ministry Mission
To name each and every youth as a child of God, knowing that God matters to them and the world; to ensure that each young person knows that they matter to God, to the Church and to Lewinsville Church; to nurture faith in our young people such that it will guide and comfort them throughout their lives; to set before our youth the vision that as today’s disciples they will be called to become tomorrow’s apostles.
Lewinsville’s Youth Ministry Vision
To grow and sustain a vibrant youth ministry to:
- provide opportunities to serve Jesus Christ through mission and outreach;
- offer a safe, welcoming place of refuge, fun and activities to deepen the connections of youth to God, our community, the world, and to each other;
- welcome all who come and actively reach out to others;
- encourage active participation of parents and families and develop creative ways for balancing youth activities and life’s other demands;
- craft programs and activities that will continue to draw youth back to the church and create a life-long faith;
- engage youth in important roles in our church as worship participants, as disciples and apostles, and as leaders.
- provide educational opportunities which allow the youth to grow in biblical and theological understanding.
