Rebuilding Together

Service Project and Skills Building - Meet at Lewinsville at 7:30am for the traditional bagels, donuts, and coffee, courtesy of Men’s Square. Following a short devotion, the team will leave for the work site. Volunteers should be finished by 4:30 - lunch is provided. Full day commitments are appreciated, but those that can only make it for part of the day are also welcome. At this point in time, we do not know where the house will be or what we will be doing, but activities will probably include landscaping, painting, and moderate carpentry repairs.

Shrub and Flagstone Removal

The church is paying us to relocate about 20 shrubs and 100 flagstones from one area of the church property to another. Bring shovels, gloves and wheelbarrows.

This year's project is a group home in Oakton operated by the Hartwood Foundation, serving the mentally handicapped. Projects include building shelves for the basement, minor painting and landscaping.

Easter Balloons

Meet at the church at 6:00am - donuts provided - to decorate the church sanctuary for Easter with 400+ helium balloons. Then we'll move to Lewinsville Park to hide eggs for the annual Easter egg hunt.
