Sponsorships Due April 1

Be sure to check out the fundraising tips under SMP 2010 Downloads if you need help reaching out to potential sponsors.

All participants should turn in a minimum of $300 in sponsorships by April 1. Checks should be made payable to Lewinsville Presbyterian Church.

Last Minute Requests

If you have a large cooler, please bring it with you next week.

Also, if you have a pressure washer, short (6') extension ladder, table saw or screw gun, please bring it with you next week.

Summer Destination Determined!

Plans for June have been finalized to work with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro in North Carolina. They have built over 300 homes since being formed in 1987 and are currently building at the rate of 10-15 homes per year.

Ash Wednesday Soup Supper

Thanks to all who helped with the Ash Wednesday Soup Supper. We served about 75 guests and so many people asked for the soup recipe we're going to publish it in the church bulletin again! Donations were generous and minus the cost of the food, we raised $200 towards this summer's trip.

Yardwork Fundraiser

Thanks to all who helped with the yardwork at church on Saturday, January 10. The church was most appreciative of our efforts and has donated $1500 towards our summer trip!

Winter Mission Project 2009

Jane Neldon, Maddy Gunter, Rachel Gottke and Luke Hupp are headed to Johns Island, SC from January 3-10 to work with Forrest and Sea Island Habitat for Humanity. Make us proud guys!
