BE DIFFERENT - February 12, 19, and March 4

The study of February is called Be Different and gets us thinking about how to think, act, love and speak differently than those around us. This study is a reminder that being different isn’t always a bad thing and Paul, in his first letter to Timothy, encourages youngsters to set an example of how to be different as an example for Christ. Be Different is not only a great motivation for youth but for all of us to be unique, original and different from everyone else.

LYFE Youth Fellowship Ski Trip - February 25-26

On Saturday February 25, we will be meeting at 8:45 am for breakfast and then to depart at 9:30 am for Wintergreen Ski Resort. Please bring a pillow and sleeping bag, pj’s and toiletries, clothes for the snow and other clothes for dinner and the return home Sunday. In addition, bring $60 for your lift ticket and any extra money for extra fun, and a fun attitude! We will stay at Wintergreen Ski Resort until Sunday lunch time and will return to the church around 4:00 pm in time for bell and choir rehearsals.

SHATTERED DREAMS - March 11, 18, and 25

Our March Bible Study, Shattered Dreams, is about a dream David had of his life as told in Genesis, Chapter 37. Many of us have dreams – to be the best, prettiest, smartest, to make the most money, to have the best kids or spouse, to have the coolest stuff. David wanted something more. And because his heart wanted this so badly, his dreams ended up shattered dreams. What happens to you when your dreams become unreachable? Do they change? Do you continue to reach them? Do you care? This series will open up a new can of worms about our faith, life and our trust in God.
