The Intersection of Faith & Vocation
Thursday, December 14, 7:00– 9:00 pm

Where does your faith intersect with your vocation? Does it? Are you searching for ways to recognize how God might be active and alive in your life? Are you wondering what vocation has to do with faith?

Jed Metge will share how God has been at work in his work through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Virginia (UVA). Jed graduated the Class of 2013 from UVA. As a student, he spent two years in the School of Engineering, but finished with majors in Music and Religious Studies, including a particular focus on topics of race and religion.

Upon graduation he went on staff with InterVarsity (IV), serving an intern year at NC State in Raleigh, NC while discerning whether to attend Princeton Theological Seminary. He currently leads the IV chapter that he himself was a part of while an under-graduate. Jed has recently been working with groups at UVA and in Charlottesville through the tumult of dealing with race relations, white supremacy and sexual assault on college campuses.

Jed is a member of Lewinsville Presbyterian Church and works closely with students as they think through vocational discernment.
