SABBATH AND SABBATHICAL

This coming summer, Pastor Scott will be on sabbatical, a gift for which he is DEEPLY GRATEFUL. The concept of a sabbatical derives from the 4th Commandment about the sabbath: “Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8; Deuteronomy 5:12).

On Sunday, February 19, during the Adult Education Hour, Pastor Scott will be leading a discussion of the sabbath commandment and its implications for our lives, as well as sharing some of his developing thoughts and plans for his sabbatical this summer. Come for this restful and renewing conversation.
