On Wednesday, March 5, Lewinsville will offer two opportunities to mark the beginning of Lent with Ash Wednesday. We will worship in the church sanctuary at 12 noon and 7:30 pm, during which worshippers will have the opportunity to receive the imposition of ashes.
Ash Wednesday drop-in ashes for children and families: The noon and 7:30 p.m. Ash Wednesday worship services on March 5th may be during school or bedtime for families who are interested in receiving ashes with their children. Between 6:00-7:00, ashes will be available in the Narthex for any children and families that would like to “drop-in” to receive ashes.
