Each Wednesday, from 11:30 to 1 p.m. you are invited to a Bible study in the chapel. Each week’s study is ordinarily led by the pastor who will be preaching the following Sunday, and the study revolves around the texts that will be read in worship. These studies are always a help to the pastors in preparing their sermons, and our hope is that they will be helpful to the participants who are about to hear the sermons, as well! We’re doing something new in 2020! Beginning Wednesday, January 8, Lewinsville will be having a monthly Bible study with our friends and neighbors at Shiloh Baptist Church, 8310 Turning Leaf Lane in McLean. Their pastor, Dr. Rob Cheeks, and Pastor Scott became friends on the Clergy United for Racial Empathy (CURE) trip this past May, and when they realized that both churches have a Wednesday Bible Study, they decided to experiment with a monthly study together.
