Saturday April 10
Spring is a glorious time to deepen our connection with the natural world and be reminded of God’s great love for Creation. All are invited to join Fairfax Master Naturalists Mary Frase and Susan Bartram for a nature walk at Riverbend Park, Great Falls VA.
We will meet at 9:00 am at the Riverbend Park Visitor Center and walk from there at a leisurely pace for one to two miles on a fairly smooth, level trail. We will enjoy a spectacular display of Virginia bluebells and other early blooming wildflowers, and may catch sight of the bald eagle family currently nesting on nearby Minnehaha Island.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. RSVP by sending an email to Susan Bartram (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can contact you in the event of weather-related changes in the schedule.
