Fair Trade Fair!

Save the Date for a Shopping Adventure:  Sunday, December 1

Our annual Fair Trade Sale will again this year feature products from Ten Thousand Villages.  The date is Sunday, December 1, between both services and after the 11:00 a.m. service, in St. Andrews Hall.  Checks, cash, and credit cards are accepted.  Beautiful hand-crafted products from around the world will be available for purchase.

All items are made by disadvantaged artisans who earn a fair wage in safe working conditions.  In addition, the products are made from locally sourced, recycled, and renewable materials.  Ten Thousand Villages promotes creative re-use and energy efficiency in artisan workshops and seeks to minimize their environmental footprint.

In keeping with our being an Earth Care Congregation, this year we are adding another table where a few environmentally safe, recycled, and energy-saving household products will be available for purchase or ordering.  Be sure to check out this table, as well, to gain ideas for how to better make your home eco-friendly and reduce your use of electricity, plastics and non-renewable products. At the eco-friendly table we can only accept checks and cash.

The Fair Trade Sale is sponsored by the Mission and Service Ministry Group and the Earth Care Team.
