Guest Speaker and Preacher for Reformation Sunday

Doug Ottati is the Craig Family Distinguished Professor of Reformed Theoogy and Justice at Davidson College. He will speak at 9:30 a.m. and preach the 11 a.m. service on October 26. Prior to Davidson College, Rev. Dr. Ottati taught at Union Seminary in Richmond. His scholarly interests include theology and ethics, as well as as the history of theology and ethics in America. He is past president of the Society of Christian Ethics. Rev.Dr. Ottati’s books include Living Belief: A Short Introduction to Christian Faith; A Theology for the Twenty First Century; Theology or Liberal Presbyterians and Other Endangered Species; Hopeful Realism: Reclaiming the Poetry of Theology.
