Our next Holy Happy Hour will be on Wednesday, April 28th at 6:15 pm. It will be a YouTube Premier Event! We’ll have a pre-concert talk with the artist and post concert reception on Zoom.
The concert will feature Sarah Berger, a violinist passionate about orchestral performance and new music. Her leading positions include Assistant Concertmaster of Spoleto Festival USA, Principal Second Violin of Mannes Orchestra, Concertmaster of Eastman Philharmonia, and Concertmaster of Brevard Music Center Orchestra.
Ms. Berger will perform French violin music of Lili Boulanger, Olivier Messiaen, Maurice Ravel, and Eugène Ysaÿe.
Schedule for this event:
- 6:00 pm – Pre-concert talk on Zoom – Hosted by John Nothaft. Sarah will talk about the pieces she will play for this short pre-concert call.
- 6:15 pm – Watch the Premier Event on our YouTube Channel.
- 6:45 pm – Post-concert reception on Zoom. Talk to the artist; bring your own wine and cheese! A recommended wine pairing for the French Music event is a French red Bourdeaux which can be purchased at any local wine stores. (Please support our local small businesses).
