The Christian faith and life have often been described as a journey. Our two most holy festival seasons of Lent and Advent invite us to take such faith journeys. During Lent we journey with Jesus on the road to Jerusalem culminating with Jesus’ agony on the cross and the joy of his resurrection on Easter. Advent invites us to humbly make our way to the lowly town of Bethlehem to kneel in reverence at the site of our Savior’s birth. Rev. Dan Thomas invites you to join him along with renowned author and pastor Adam Hamilton on a personal journey to Bethlehem. This journey will include weekly a video presentation by Reverend Hamilton offering insights of archaeological findings, overlooked historical information and personal scholarly reflections. Scripture, art, music, and poetry will also hopefully allow each participant to experience of the Savior’s birth with fresh eyes, ears, and most of all grateful and joy filled hearts.
