On Sunday, June 4, everyone is welcome to walk next door to the Lewinsville Retirement Residence for a picnic Lunch and Good Samaritan Day. We will enjoy picnic food while seated at tables in air conditioned, bug-free comfort (although overflow seating, may be outside.) This is a wonderful way to get to know our neighbors as we break bread together. There will be food and fellowship.
Following lunch there will be multiple family friendly service options for you to participate in, if you are able. Lunch will be provided but please bring a dessert to share if you are able. Finger foods like cookies or bars are easier to eat since they don’t need a fork. The LRR dining service no longer provides meals for the residents on the weekends. We will let you know the menu when we finalize plans. We will have a free will offering to help pay for the food–any funds left over will be donated to the Friends of the Lewinsville for their dining program.
