Lewinsville’s choirs will sing music of Black Women composers throughout Black History Month.
Composers include Florence Price, Ysaye Maria Barnwell, Josephine Poelinitz, Rosephanye Powell. Voluntaries (preludes and postludes) will feature keyboard works by Undine Smith Moore, Margaret Bonds, and Evelyn Simpson Currenton. Each Sunday bulletin will include bios on each composer.
