In a world so often filled with rancor and meanness, how do we practice the spiritual art of lovingkindness? What can we let go for the sake of God’s agenda of love?
So often life calls us to let go of our agendas – what we planned or wanted, or how we were taught or shaped. Spirituality sees those times as holy opportunities for God’s love to transform us and our relationships. This four-week session invites you to let go of old ways for the sake of God’s call to deeper empathy and authentic kindness. Come prepared to have fun together as we engage with readings and practical experiments in listening, forgiving, and compassion.
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:31-32
