We invite you to join us for one of our worship services and education classes held each Sunday!
WHAT HAPPENS DURING WORSHIP?
Usually, we have two services of worship at 8:30 am and 11:00 am on Sunday mornings. During the summer hours and at pre-announced times during the year, we have one service of worship at 10:00 am. Our website always indicates what the worship schedule will be for the next Sunday on our home page.
Our 8:30 am service is designed to be a simple, less liturgical and more intimate service of worship. Usually attendance at this service is about 30 to 40 people who are encouraged to sit up front in the sanctuary. You will be greeted by ushers who will hand you a bulletin which provides the narrative about the service, song numbers and any unison prayers or readings. Music leadership is provided by our Director of Music Ministries and usually a member of our choir accompanied on the organ or piano. Our service usually includes Songs (sung from the hymnals in the pews, scripture readings, a sermon, an offering, the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, prayers, and a benediction. This service is usually about 45 minutes to one hour in duration.
The 11:00 am service of worship is more traditional and attendance is much larger — usually about 225. Families with small children sometimes find this service more appealing, because it includes a Children’s Meditation, when children are invited to come forward for a few minutes with the Pastor, and then they leave for “Sermon Stories” with our Director of Christian Education during the sermon. They return to join their parents before the end of the service. Usually, one of our singing or ringing choirs lead the congregation in music accompanied by the organ or piano. Unlike the 8:30 service, the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month only. This service is usually about 60-75 minutes in duration.

Nursery care is available Sunday mornings, staffed by professional child care givers, for babies through age 5 in our lower level nursery. Read more about our nursery here >>
AND WHAT IS THE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION HOUR?
When we have two services of worship, our Christian Education hour is from 9:30-10:45 am. We offer classes for all ages, plus the nursery services described above. Below are links for each age group:
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There are no rules for what you should wear. Some men prefer to wear suits and ties or sport coats and ties, and some women prefer dresses or suits. But we also have many folks who prefer more casual attire. Jeans and slacks are fine as well as T-shirts and sweaters. Come in what feels comfortable to you and is appropriate for entering the house of the Lord.
