During this summer, we will be focusing our attention on our priority of “Deepening Relationships.” We are doing this in a sermon series through stories from Genesis, 1st and 2nd Samuel, and the New Testament Gospels. We’ll be exploring the family stories from Genesis (which include themes of betrayal, deception, forgiveness, and reconciliation), the stories around King David (which include stories of vulnerability, grief, and renewal), and a variety of stories around Jesus (including stories of compassion, belonging, and hope). This will provide us with a variety of ways to explore the foundational claim that we cannot know God without knowing each other.
