Joyful Noise – Music for 4 & 5 year olds  register

Joyful Noise Picture 2013This group learns music in the Sunday morning Godly Play class, teaching the faith through singing, moving, dancing, chanting, listening and playing instruments. This choir sings in the Fall, Christmas and in the Spring. Godly Play allows the children to enter into a presentation based on a parable, sacred story, or liturgical action. The children can respond to the presentation through shared wondering, or through their own work, either expressive art or with the lesson materials.

Rehearsals: Sundays, 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Cherub Choir/Chimers – Music for Grades 1 and 2register

genesis-and-cherub-choirsThese children explore music and movement through songs of praise and worship.  They participate in worship in the Fall, Christmas, and in the Spring.  They sing in the Children’s cantata each spring as well as play on Bell Sunday in May.

registerThis choir continues to develop musical literacy through anthems and songs for worship and special services.  They present the children’s cantata each spring.

Rehearsals: Sundays, 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. (with dinner at 6:00-6:30 pm with the ringing choir)

St. Andrews Ringers – Ringing Choir for Grades 3-6


registerThis group experiences basic handbell technique and learns to read notes and rhythms.  They ring for worship and special services throughout the year.  They also participate in a children’s handbell festival in the spring and on Bell Sunday.

Rehearsals: Sundays, 5:15-6:00 p.m. (with dinner at 6:00-6:30 pm with the singing choir)
